Lodz University of Technology enjoys a high position in Poland and strengthens it on the international stage , also thanks to its active membership in the European Consortium of Innovative Universities (ECIU). In its 80-year tradition, TUL continuously improves the quality of education, conducts research, and responds to the needs of the socio-economic environment.
The university offers education at the undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, and postgraduate levels , and also develops the idea of Life Long Learning by offering classes at the University of the Third Age, a general secondary school, the Lodz Children’s University, a kindergarten, and a nursery.
TUL is among the 20 Polish universities implementing the Excellence Initiative – Research University program. The high-level research conducted here covers 12 scientific disciplines, of which three have been rated A+, six A, and three B+ as a result of evaluation.
